[Jailbreak Tweak] Lyricalizer Brings Instant Music Lyrics To iPad
As you know Apple removed lyric functionality in the iPad’s Music application in iOS 5. iOS developer ac3xx has released a new tweak dubbed Lyricalizer which allows you to get those lyrics back to display over the large album artwork taking advantage of the iPad’s large screen. If no lyrics are detected, the app grabs them from the internet and places in the Music application for you, so you won’t have to enter your song’s lyrics through iTunes anymore!
Lyricalizer works in both landscape or portrait orientation from the stock iOS Music application, but does not currently work on any other kind of music application from the App Store or from Cydia such as Grooveshark, Pandora, or Spotify. Lyricalizer only supports the iPad right now, the developer is working on a universal version that will also work on the iPhone and iPod touch (which both currently still support lyrics). Since the iPad had its lyrical functionality stripped, the developer found it fit to release the iPad version first.
Lyricalizer is a great jailbreak tweak as it takes advantage of iPad’s large screen to show you your lyrics, and the ease of use is even better. Lyricalizer requires iOS 5, there are no preferences to configure from the Settings application. The tweak is available in Cydia Store via BigBoss repo for $1.29.
