[Jailbreak Tweak] Deck Brings Centralized Action Bar To iOS Springboard
1A new premium-designed jailbreak tweak dubbed Deck by iOS developer SBCoders has surfaced. If you just take a look at the screenshot above, you can see the effort that has been put into this app. Deck will set you back just $1.99 to snag a copy from the ModMyi repository of Cydia.
Deck does more than just offer you toggles like SBSettings or IntelliScreenX can, but it also gives you shortcuts for system actions like composing messages and Tweets, launching Siri or the multitasking App Switcher, re-springing and shutting down, or even shortcuts for launching up to six applications of your choice. Deck let’s you customize the applications you want to show in Deck, as well as which system shortcuts to display.
Deck features:
- Respring, reboot, power down, lock the device
- Quick-upload text to Pastie
- Toggle a flashlight
- Launch a music application of your choice (Music, Pandora, Spotify)
- Launch App Switcher, SpotLight, Notification Center, Siri, Camera, Wallpaper settings
- Quick compose text messages, e-mails, Tweets
- Toggle Wi-Fi, airplane mode, location services, Bluetooth, mute, 3G
- Create up to six application shortcuts
The composition button brings up an iOS-style popup, which gives you the ability to compose Tweets, e-mails, or text messages. The iPhone-shaped button gives you an iOS-style popup with the ability to respring, reboot, power down, or lock the device (put it to sleep).
Deck can be configured with an Activator action, which is customizable from the Settings application after you install it from Cydia. From the Settings pane you can enable and disable Deck at your leisure, choose which interface will appear first when you launch Deck, pick your Activator action for launching Deck, choose which music application on your device will be launched by Deck, and last but not least pick your six actions or applications for the Deck shortcut section.

At the moment, the 3G toggle is a pseudo-toggle that will take you to the Settings application. The reason for this is because SBCoders released Deck early due to high demand and has yet to finish the toggle. The 3G toggle will work like any other toggle as soon as SBCoders releases the next update.
Also note that after installing Deck you will need to disable and then re-enable it and then pick a music application for it to work. This is a small glitch, which will be addressed in the next update.
